A Short Bio

Robby began his speaking career in high school when he delivered his SGA Presidential speech before 500 students–the speech was filled with illusions to illustrate his points. Another opportunity to speak in a public arena presented itself at the age of 19 through a network marketing business named ACN (American Communications Network). The exceptional growth of his business afforded Robby the opportunity to travel the country speaking to various size audiences. He sharpened his skills in college by pursuing a degree in communications at William Carey University.

Shortly after coming to Christ, Robby pursued a Master of Divinity degree in Expository preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon graduation, he was selected to preach in chapel during senior week. The following year, the seminary chose him as the preacher for its weeklong campus revival. In 2007, Robby was accepted into the Ph.D. program at NOBTS to continue his studies in preaching. In December 2010, he graduated with his doctorate in Expository Preaching.

In addition to those who attend Brainerd Baptist Church every week, Robby preaches on the local ABC channel every Sunday morning at 11:00. Between the weekly broadcasted sermons, the podcasted messages, and the live attendees on the web, thousands hear Robby’s sermons every week.
