Stop Making Discipleship So Complicated!

Stop Making Discipleship So Complicated!

Derwin L. Gray:

The goal of “Discipleship” isn’t that complicated. For real; it’s not!

The reason we make it so complicated is that we don’t believe in the life-transforming power of the Gospel of grace (Acts 20:24), which is called the Gospel of God (Romans 1:1) and the Gospel of the Son (Romans 1:9).

We want to believe that our man made programs are transforming lives. It makes us “feel” in control and that we somehow made it happen. Ultimately, any life transformation is only through Christ. When we trust His process for disciple making and soul winning, we are showing faith that God’s word is true and it can be trusted.
