A Tragic Neglect

Eric Geiger
In many contexts, however, love for the discipleship ministries of the church has grown cold. The big gathering, with her flashing lights and carefully designed stage, has been a seductress to some.
This is sad, but true. Many churches are more concerned with designing a comfortable concert than they are telling people to follow Jesus into discipleship. The western Church is great at getting people in the door, but it could use some work on getting people back out to make disciples who make disciples.
