Ending a D-Group

Ending a D-Group

lightstock_4175_max_jared_callaisAs the end of the year finishes, your D-Groups are likely winding down. Here are some tips that we’ve come up with to help you finish well.

Commit to Reproduce

By this point, you should have already been praying about your new group members. Remember, discipleship isn’t discipleship without the reproduction. Begin discussing who God is laying on your heart, and if you have approached them or not.

Commit to Pray

You should commit to pray for each others groups in the coming year. Pray that God would give each person wisdom and patience with new people.

Commit to Reunite

I love to see old groups get together 3–4 times the following year for coffee or a meal. This can be a great time of reconnecting, enrichment, and encouragement.
