Reflections From The Replicate Booth – SBC 2019

I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you (Philippians 1:3, CSB) It was such a joy to meet and see so many of you at the Replicate booth at the Southern Baptist Convention last week in Birmingham. Catching up with old friends, hearing stories of how God is at work in their churches, and meeting new friends is always one of the highlights for me during the annual meeting. I was so encouraged to hear stories of how God is using discipleship to work in and through your people to have an impact in communities across the country for the gospel. I loved hearing stories of transformation and life change and how God is on the move in your churches to create a vibrant and thriving disciplemaking culture. I also had the great privilege of praying for many of you. Lifting up to our Heavenly Father specific needs for you, your families and the needs of your churches; to God be the glory! Let me remind you to check out Jumpstart, a quick collection of tools to help you launch a disciplemaking movement in your environment, and the Blueprint 150, which is coming up in October. Next week, we will start a short series on living in response to the Gospel. Photo by Matt Artz on Unsplash
