Did you catch that? In one of his final conversations, Jesus instructed his disciples to do three things; go make disciples, baptize them, teach them to obey my commands. Part of the mission was to baptize! Would Jesus, in one of his final conversations, instruct his disciples to do something unimportant or unnecessary? Of course not.
