The Vital Practice that Captured Pastor Johnny Hunt’s Heart

iStock_000002748428_SmallPastor Johnny Hunt has been leading people to Jesus and making a difference for God’s Kingdom for a long time. His influence is felt, not just in the community in which he serves, but across the nation and around the world. Pastor Hunt has an undeniable legacy of reaching the world for Jesus Christ. When I watched this video of Pastor Hunt sharing about a practice that he claims captured his heart, I was excited and humbled. Excited because I believe Johnny is absolutely right about the power of the practice of making disciples, humbled because I get to serve in a ministry that is focused on that one thing. Pastor Hunt is certainly a man who chases God and desires to see the world reached with the gospel. But he also understands the vital nature of taking those disciples on a journey beyond that initial decision. Growing disciples, the way Jesus did, takes time. It takes intentionality, and it takes a lot of patience. For someone like Pastor Hunt to embrace and employ an intentional disciple-making strategy in his church reveals even more about his passion to fulfill the Great Commission. We appreciate Pastor Hunt taking time to point pastors and church leaders to the Discipleship Blueprint, but we are even more excited about a seasoned leader and Christ-centered church with a passion to make disciples. Thank you Pastor Hunt! Thank you Woodstock! At Replicate Ministries, it is our mission to equip the local church to make disciples who make disciple-makers. We would love to serve you and equip you with a Discipleship Pathway to help you make disciples in your context.
